Little Owl Mounted Print. A little owl, looking at me from its hole in an ancient oak tree. This, or similar birds, have used this tree for many years. Although they are not easy to approach, they are not so bothered by people that they are disturbed easily. Usually just hopping down into the tree cavity.
On this day, it took me a good half an hour, of slowly edging forward, before I was able to capture this shot, and similar, edging away so a not to disturb the little owl. Field-craft still plays a huge role in wildlife photography, even with long lenses.
For sale is an A4 photograph, professionally printed by Loxley Colour. Then mounted in an 11×14 acid free, mount, ready to frame.
And is one from my Bird Photography collection.
